Wonders of the Internet

It is so cool- I am doing this new YoVille thing on Facebook... finally trying to get "with it." We may all be holding our breath for that one :) But I just spent the past few minutes talking to people in Japan and Malaysia about God. Really only saying God bless you, but it was so cool when they answered the same back. To find Christians, on the other side of the world. Too cool. I hope that was as reassuring to them as it was to me. I just realized that in everything that we do, we need to be thinking about how we can let God use that opportunity to reach others. We don't get any "off" time- and who wants it. Whether it is in quiet reflection or at a coffee shop, everything that we do is made better when we are doing it with Him. Have a good night everyone and talk to you soon!

Wet Socks

Here is something that I just came up with driving back from Lincoln. And yes, I had stepped in a puddle... :)

Wet Socks
I stepped in a puddle and my socks are wet.
I think of my day and I begin to sweat.
How am I supposed to do what you want me to do?
To tell these kids how much they mean to you…
How am I a soldier, wet feet and all?
Faced with temptation afraid I’d only fall.
Lord I need your strength to fight today

Struggling with Alcohol?

Hey everyone! First, I had an amazing women's retreat this past weekend filled with opportunities to serve God! Praise the Lord! I am really excited and will try to write this evening to share some of the things that happened. For now though, I wanted to mention the verses that I just read in my devotional from Isiah. For anyone struggling with alcohol addiction, these are good verses to read. So often I hear, oh, it's okay to drink, God doesn't care. Well... you have to admit that these verses completely disagree.

Please read- Isiah Chapter 5. It is particularly powerful to read it with the Clear Word as well.
